Kristin Gerdes

Kristin Gerdes has extensive work experience in the energy sector, starting as an Engineer at ExxonMobil from 2001 to 2006. Kristin then transitioned to the National Energy Technology Laboratory, where they held various roles such as Engineer, Director of the Performance Division, Director of the Office of Program Performance and Benefits, Associate Director of Systems Engineering & Analysis, Deputy Director (Acting) of the Research & Innovation Center, and currently the Associate Director of Research Planning & Delivery in the Research & Innovation Center. Throughout their career, they have supervised engineers, scientists, and economists, providing guidance and evaluation in process engineering, cost engineering, and energy sector economic analysis for the U.S.

Kristin Gerdes completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Kansas in 2001. Kristin then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at West Virginia University from 2006 to 2007.
