Lior Kaufman

Lior Kaufman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lior started their career as a Lieutenant in the IDF - Israel Defense Forces from August 2009 to December 2013. After that, Lior worked as an Event Manager at Megi & Tuli Catering from August 2014 to November 2016, where they handled various responsibilities, including assigning roles and directing banquet servers and kitchen staff. From October 2017 to June 2019, Lior worked as a Bartender at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

In 2019, Lior transitioned into the tech industry and joined LEARN Academy as a Full-stack Developer in training from June 2019 to August 2019. They then worked as a Frontend Web Developer at CourseKey from August 2019 to January 2020.

Lior's next role was at Sightly, where they held multiple positions. They started as an Operations and Support Analyst from July 2020 to December 2021. In this role, Lior responded to internal end users' technical issues, implemented and maintained cloud-based data pipelines, and automated manual ETL processes. Later, Lior became a Data Engineer at Sightly from December 2021 to June 2023.

Currently, Lior is working as a Data Engineer at National Funding, starting in June 2023.

Lior Kaufman completed their education at San Diego Mesa College from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Lior also obtained certifications, including the "Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals" from Astronomer in December 2021 and the "dbt Fundamentals" certification from dbt Labs in January 2022.
