Jacqueline Austin has over 20 years of experience in the museum and exhibition industry. Jacqueline has worked at the National Galleries of Scotland as a Lead Registrar, managing loans, touring, and partnerships. At the National Trust for Scotland, they served as a Loans Registrar, responsible for loans to and from the organization. Jacqueline also managed a program of contemporary art loans.
Austin has also worked at the National Museums of Scotland, where they served as a Malawi Project Coordinator, coordinating collaborations and exhibitions between the two institutions. Jacqueline also worked as a Registrar, managing a photography project for the Your Paintings project. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant, reviewing previous exhibitions and preparing proposals for future collaborations with other museums.
Earlier in their career, Austin worked as an Exhibitions Officer at both the National Museums of Scotland and the Navyblue Design Group, where they managed various exhibition projects. Jacqueline also worked as an Exhibition Project Manager at Eighteen51: the exhibition company, where they managed international touring exhibition projects for clients.

Jacqueline Austin completed a Pg Dip in Exhibition Interpretation from Edinburgh Napier University in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained an MA(Hons) in Psychology and Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh, graduating in 1994.
