Anthony A. Williams

Anthony Williams is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public service and governance. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at The Howard Hughes Corporation and acting as CEO and Executive Director of the Federal City Council since July 2012, Williams has a rich history of driving impactful initiatives in the District, such as Metro projects and educational reforms. As the creator of City Palooza, Williams promotes communication among city officials regarding best practices. Additional roles include being a contributing writer for CityLab, a Senior Advisor at King and Spalding LLC, and a Trustee at National Geographic. With a solid educational foundation, including a Master of Public Policy and a Juris Doctor from prestigious institutions, Williams is also a current board member for Calvert Investments and holds past board positions at American Rivers and Freddie Mac.
