Caroline Woody

Caroline Woody is a General Engineer at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the Office of Defects Investigation since June 2023. Prior to this role, Caroline gained extensive experience at General Motors from January 2020 to May 2023, holding multiple positions including Design Release Engineer for Front Camera Module, Autonomous Performance Engineer, Post Crash Electrical Integrity Engineer, AV LiDAR Project Engineer, and Integration Design Engineer. Caroline also interned as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Waymo and a Software Development Intern at Capstone Surgical Technologies. Additional experience includes a Design Engineer Co-Op position at Ethicon, Inc., a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at Pratt Industries, and serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan's Department of Biomedical Engineering. Caroline earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2019.
