Jocelyn Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jocelyn started their career in 2008 as a Togo Specialist at Applebee's and later worked as a Sales Associate at Victoria's Secret. In 2012, they interned as a Public Relations/Social Media Intern at touchPoint Partners, LLC, where they assisted in executing social media strategies and conducted research.

From 2012 to 2013, Jocelyn worked as an Account Executive at KJCT News 8. Jocelyn then transitioned to the non-profit sector, joining the American Cancer Society as a Relay for Life Specialist. In this role, they supported volunteer committees in planning community events and facilitated volunteer recruitment and sponsorships.

In 2015, Jocelyn became a Social Media Coordinator at the National Honey Board (NHB), an industry-funded agriculture promotion group. In this position, they oversaw all of NHB's digital communications and drafted content for various social media platforms. Jocelyn later advanced to the role of Digital Communications Specialist at NHB, where they managed all digital communications, including social media, e-newsletters, blog posts, and article submissions.

Prior to their professional career, Jocelyn gained experience in public relations and media relations through various roles at the University of Northern Colorado, where they served as a Student Media Relations member, Pre-Journalism Peer Advisor, Desk Assistant, and Student Creative/Media Team member.

Additionally, Jocelyn held leadership positions as President of the Student Public Relations Network and worked as a Student PR Assistant at Greeley Museums.

Throughout their work experience, Jocelyn has demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills, a passion for promoting and educating, as well as a diverse range of experiences in digital communications, public relations, and customer service.

Jocelyn Martinez attended Central High School from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a general education. Following their high school graduation, they enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado from 2006 to 2010. At the university, Jocelyn completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications, with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising Media.
