Amelia Carter

Amelia Carter is a Senior Policy Officer at the National Indigenous Australians Agency, specializing in housing and infrastructure policy since September 2022, having previously served as a Policy Officer in the same section. Amelia's experience includes roles as an Inspections Assistant at the Commonwealth Ombudsman from March to August 2022 and again from January to June 2021. As an English Second Language Teacher at I.E.S. Las Fuentezuelas, Amelia taught in Jaén, Spain, and held research assistant positions at The Australian National University focused on linguistics, including proofreading and transcription for various projects.
