Rodrigo Carnier

Rodrigo Carnier is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, mechatronics, and mathematical modeling related to Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Informatics since June 2023, Rodrigo focuses on developing cybersecurity solutions based on the Zero Trust model. Simultaneously, Rodrigo holds the position of Mechatronics Engineer at JB Energy since June 2022. Previously, Rodrigo worked at Yokohama National University, where roles included Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant, contributing significantly to the development of malware propagation models and mitigation systems for IoT devices. Rodrigo's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Yokohama National University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, complemented by earlier experiences in mechatronics and robotics.
