George Papanicolaou has extensive experience in research and leadership roles within biomedical research. Currently, George serves as a Research Geneticist and Program Director at the National Institutes of Health since 2006. Prior to this, George was the CEO of Papanicolaou & Associates from 2003 to 2006 and worked as a Research Fellow at NIH from 1997 to 2005. George's academic background includes graduate studies at the University of Michigan from 1989 to 1992, followed by medical education at the University of Michigan Medical School, which was completed in 1999.
