Steven Solar

Steven Solar is a Bioinformatics Scientist at The National Institutes of Health since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Patient Transporter at Mercy Medical Center and as President/Director of Operations at Treyetech, where Steven developed a patent-pending medical device for corneal transplants and secured over $100,000 in funding. Steven has also served as a Partner at A-Level Capital, a venture capital firm, and completed multiple software engineering internships at companies including Google and Tesla, focusing on automation and validation pipelines. Steven's earlier work also includes a machine learning internship where technology was developed to enhance government grant review processes, and a research internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center specializing in immunology. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
