Dr. Becky Captain

Dr. Becky Captain, RN, DNP, BC, FNP-c, CLS, FNLA, currently serves as the Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Practice at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where responsibilities include collaborating with various departments to enhance ambulatory services and achieve organizational goals. As a Fellow of the National Lipid Association, Dr. Captain is recognized for embodying high ethical standards and contributing to the field of Clinical Lipidology. Previous roles include serving as a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Nurse Practitioner at Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants, where Dr. Captain managed clinical processes and efficiencies, and as a Cardiology Nurse Clinician at Research Medical Center, emphasizing medical management in Cardiac care. Dr. Captain holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Post Master's Leadership Certificate from Duke University, in addition to a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
