Rory M Doyle has extensive work experience in the field of forensic toxicology and LCMS analysis. Starting in 1998, Rory worked as a Senior Criminalist at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where they conducted analysis of biological samples and performed drug chemistry analysis. From 1999 to 2002, Rory worked as a Forensic Scientist III at the California Department of Justice, continuing their work in toxicology analysis. They then moved to Washington, DC and worked as a Deputy Chief Toxicologist at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner from 2002 to 2006. During this time, Rory managed forensic toxicologists and supervised analysis of biological samples. From 2007 to 2010, Rory served as a Laboratory Manager and Associate Director at Quest Diagnostics, where they oversaw the LCMS Department and managed a team of laboratory technologists and supervisors. Rory then transitioned to roles at Agilent Technologies and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they held various managerial positions and led LCMS application scientist teams. In 2020, Rory became the Demo Lab Manager and Application/Product Development Scientist at MOBILion Systems, Inc. and then moved to WuXi AppTec, Research Service Division in 2021 to serve as the Director of the LCMS Bioanalysis group. Currently, Rory is the Director of Research and Development at NMS Labs (since 2023).
Rory M Doyle attended the University of Florida from 2002 to 2010, studying Forensic and Analytical Toxicology/Forensic Medicine. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, Rory studied Forensic and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde. In 1993, Rory briefly attended the University of Cambridge, specializing in Biophysics. Earlier on, from 1987 to 1992, Rory completed studies in Biochemistry at the University College Dublin.
