Michael Shevelson

Michael Shevelson has over 30 years of work experience in the mortgage insurance and finance industry. Michael began their career at Homestead Savings as a Senior Customer Service Rep from 1989 to 1991. Michael then worked at First Nationwide Mortgage as a Supervisor from 1991 to 1994. From 1994 to 2003, they held various positions within PMI Mortgage Insurance Co., including claims, analytics, and finance roles. From 2003 to 2007, they served as the Director of Sales Information and Planning at PMI. Michael then became the Assistant Vice President of Business Insight & Analytics from 2007 to 2008, followed by the role of Senior Sales Strategist from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they joined M Squared Consulting as a Sales Operations Manager for two months before joining NMI Holdings, Inc. as the Director of Sales Analytics and Planning, where they currently work.

Michael Shevelson attended UC Santa Barbara from 1985 to 1989, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics.
