Lisa Bauer has a diverse work experience. Lisa started as a Senior Field Instructor for NOLS in 2006 and worked there until 2020. In 2010, they joined NOLS Wilderness Medicine as a Lead Instructor, a position they still hold. Recently, in 2019, Lisa Bauer became a Physical Therapy Intern at the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, and later transitioned into the role of Physical Therapist in September 2020.
Lisa Bauer completed their education with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Dayton in 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Lisa is a licensed Physical Therapist, certified by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in October 2019. Lisa also holds certifications as a BLS Instructor from the American Heart Association since 2016 and as an EMT from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians since March 2010. Additionally, Lisa has a certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
