Sam Olivares-Mejia

Sam Olivares-Mejia is an experienced professional in environmental studies and natural resource management, currently serving as Park Support Lead for the Scientists in Parks Program at the National Park Service since September 2024. Previous roles include a Climate Interpretation Training Intern at NASA, a Dangermond Fellow with the National Audubon Society, and a Geographic Information System Assistant at the National Park Service. Sam's background also includes leadership positions at Haverford College, where involvement as Officer of Multiculturalism and various roles in the admissions office highlighted a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from Haverford College.
