Yvan Loubier

Yvan Loubier has extensive work experience in economics and project management. Yvan started their career in 1984 as an Economist and Cost-Benefit Evaluator at Ville de Montréal. From 1985 to 1991, they worked as an Economist and Chief Economist at Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA). In 1993, they became a Federal Deputy and Finance and Economy spokesperson for the Opposition at Chambre des communes, a position they held until 2006. Since 2007, Yvan has worked at NATIONAL Public Relations - Le Cabinet de relations publiques NATIONAL, first as an Economist and Senior Advisor, and later as an Economist and Director of Major Projects. Yvan has been involved in various economic, financial, industrial, commercial, mining, and transportation projects, dealing with high-level government officials and interministerial committees.

Yvan Loubier received a Baccalauréat et maîtrise degree in Sciences économiques from Université de Montréal from 1978 to 1984. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1978, they attended cegep Ahuntsic Montreal, where they obtained a DEC Sciences sociales. Between 1971 and 1976, Yvan Loubier attended Polyvalente Lucien-Pagé. No information is available regarding their education at Sainte-Cécile.
