Shalini Mirpuri, M.Ed., is an experienced professional in education, prevention, and diversity initiatives. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Education for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the National Recreation and Park Association since November 2021, Shalini previously held the role of Director of Education & Prevention at the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, focusing on sexual violence prevention and community empowerment. Shalini's background includes a Graduate Assistant position at the University of Florida, where strategic initiatives for diversity and inclusion were developed, and earlier work as a Family Services Counselor at the Mental Health Resource Center. Shalini holds a Master of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Science from Florida State University.
