Igor Korsakov

Lead Researcher at National Research University - Higher School of Economics

Igor Korsakov has a diverse work experience starting as a student at Leningrad State University in 1978. Igor later worked as the Head of Robot Labs and Deputy Director of the Computer Department until 1990. Igor then went on to establish Korsa International in 1990 and later served as the CEO of NTCS of Canada from 1992 to 1997. From 1998 to 2004, they were the CEO of ComSet, where they focused on telemedical technologies. Igor then worked as a Project Manager at PetrMS from 2004 to 2005. Igor continued their career as a Lead Researcher at the National Research University - Higher School of Economics from 2012 and as a Senior Researcher at the Almazov National Medical Research Centre from September 2021. Additionally, they were a Lead Expert in AI in Medicine at WebioMed AI from April 2019 to March 2022.

Igor Korsakov obtained a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Leningrad State University named after Zdanov in 1983. Igor then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology from the same university in 1990. Prior to that, they attended School 77 GSVG Leipzig in 1977-1978.
