Pedro E. Arce

Principal Investigator at National Science Foundation

Pedro E. Arce, PhD, FRSC, currently serves as the Director of The Environmental Catalysis Laboratory at Tennessee Tech University since November 2022, where support is provided for the NSF-NRT grant "Engendering the Spirit of Gadugi at the Food, Energy, Water Nexus." In addition, Pedro E. Arce is the Principal Investigator for this NSF-NRT grant project. With extensive experience in academia, Pedro E. Arce has held the position of Professor and Past Chair in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University since January 2003, and previously worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor at the joint College of Engineering between Florida A&M University and Florida State University from September 1990 to January 2003. Educational credentials include a PhD and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, as well as various academic leadership certifications.
