Azra Chughtai

Azra Chughtai, MPS, SHRM-SCP has a strong background in human resources and administration. They started their career as an Executive Assistant at Georgetown University in 2010 and later became an Executive Administrator at the Solar Energy Industries Association. They then transitioned to the role of Director of Human Resources & Administration at ASCB (American Society for Cell Biology). Most recently, they have been serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the National Science Teaching Association since 2021.

Azra Chughtai obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Journalism from Saint Louis University. Following this, they earned a Master of Professional Studies degree in Human Resources Management and International Human Resources Management from Georgetown University. Additionally, Azra holds multiple certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM.
