David Gillis is an experienced professional in recreational management and athletic development, currently serving as the Manager of Recreation at the University Neighbourhoods Association since August 2021. Gillis also holds the position of Assistant Football Coach for Receivers at the BCPFA Lower Mainland North Regional Football Academy and serves as Regional Event Director for NCAA's College Sport Evaluation in Canada. With a long-standing role as Performance Enhancement Specialist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2002, Gillis specializes in athletic injury prevention and performance enhancement. Additional experience includes roles with National Scouting Report and previous management positions at YMCA Canada, The University of British Columbia, and the City of Richmond. Gillis's educational background includes a Master's degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Management and Bachelor's degrees in Physical Education and Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia.
