Dr Yvonne Ndefo

Chief Clinical Evaluator at National Standards Authority of Ireland

Dr. Yvonne Ndefo's work experience includes serving as Chief Clinical Evaluator at the National Standards Authority of Ireland, where they managed a team of clinicians and oversaw the clinical assessment of technical documentation for medical devices seeking certification. Dr Yvonne also worked as a Clinical Evaluator at the same organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Registrar Doctor in Emergency Medicine at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, where they provided immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients, performed medical procedures, and led a team. Dr Yvonne also gained surgical experience at Galway University Hospital, Kerry General Hospital, and University Hospital Limerick, where they served as a Surgical Doctor in various specialties. Dr Yvonne began their medical career as a General Surgery Resident Doctor at Spital Judetean.

Dr. Yvonne Ndefo started their education at Presentation National High School from 1993 to 1999, where they earned their Junior and Senior School Leaving Certificate with a focus on Science. Dr Yvonne then attended the University of Oradea from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine and Surgery. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Dr. Ndefo pursued a Master's Degree in Masters in Surgery (MCh) from the University of Galway. In 2022 to 2023, they attended the Aesthetics Training Academy Ireland and received a Certificate of Completion in Botox and Dermal fillers for Doctors, specializing in Medical Aesthetics.
