Brian C.H. Fong has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as the Associate Dean and Professor at National Sun Yat-Sen University, where responsibilities include leadership across multiple departments and conducting research in areas such as Great Power Competition and Identity Politics. Additionally, Brian holds positions as a Visiting Researcher at the University of the Ryukyus and a Professorial Research Associate at SOAS China Institute, focusing on Japan's geopolitics and China Studies, respectively. Previously, Brian was an Associate Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong with a significant role in the Academy of Hong Kong Studies, overseeing numerous research projects and educational programs.
