Leif Oveson has over 19 years of experience in legislative and government affairs. Leif started as a Research Assistant in the United States Senate in 2002, then transitioned to the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant in 2004. In 2009, they joined NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, where they first served as Director of Government Affairs before becoming the Vice President of Legislative Affairs in 2017.
Leif Oveson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University. In 2016, they obtained a Public Policy Certificate from the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics.
