Hilary McGrady

Hilary McGrady is the Director-General at National Trust. Hilary has extensive experience in the arts and business sectors.

Hilary started their career in 1989 as a Marketing Manager at Gilbeys/Diageo. Hilary then moved to Arts & Business in 1998, where they were Director until 2005. During this time, they also worked as an Associate Director at Locum Consulting.

In July 2005, Hilary became the Director-General at National Trust. Hilary is responsible for the care and conservation of historic buildings, ancient monuments, and wild places in the UK.

Hilary McGrady studied at Ulster University.
