Burn held roles such as Vice President of Learning and Development at NationsBenefits, Global Program Manager at Uber, and Director of Learning & Development at Convey Health Solutions. Throughout their career, Burn has demonstrated expertise in creating training programs, implementing learning management systems, and improving operational efficiencies.

Burn Orton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Adventist University of the Philippines, attained between 1999 and 2003. Burn subsequently pursued a Master of Arts in Applied Economics at the National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2011.
