Ambuj Kumar

Ambuj Kumar, Ph.D., is currently working as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Nationwide Children's Hospital. With a strong background in protein structural analysis and computational methods for NGS data analysis, Ambuj has experience in various roles including Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University and the University of Florida. Their academic research focused on bioinformatics methods and molecular changes associated with brain evolution in mammals. Additionally, they have also worked as a Bioinformatics Intern at Pharmacyclics, where they constructed NGS workflows to identify clinically relevant variants. Ambuj completed their education with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Iowa State University.
