Role Purpose A Native Foodways Bakery Worker will perform a variety of tasks and jobs depending on their skill level and confidence. A Bakery Worker can start with serving customers, restocking shelves, and cleaning. And move into making coffees, prepping food, and baking pastries as they learn and gain confidence.
Bakery Workers will be supported to learn to become a native food baker and they will gain knowledge in native foods, botanicals, and medicines. They will also learn skills in customer service, coffee making, and running a small business.
The position of Bakery Worker is an entry-level role and provides an opportunity to learn how a commercial kitchen/bakery operates.
The salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 plus super pro-rata. Depending on experience and level of responsibility.
