Online and In-store Retail Sales Leader or Worker

Role Purpose

Provide high-quality customer service in a retail environment.

Native Foodways Retail Leaders or Workers work in stores to provide a high-quality customer experience by greeting customers, establishing their needs and helping them to find products to meet those needs. You will learn about native foods, botanicals, and medicines and collaborate with First Nations suppliers all over the country.

Tasks and Duties

Prepare the shop for the day and complete sales transactions Replenish and restock items as required, in addition to providing advice and recommending products to customers Implement specific sales strategies and promotions to ensure maximum profit is generated.

Retail Leaders and Workers are responsible for providing customers with a positive, informative and engaging shopping experience. They may also assist with the coordination and training of other staff. Individuals who are highly organised with strong attention to detail and who have excellent communication skills make ideal Retail Leaders and Workers.

Learning and Development

You'll be supported to complete relevant training and certification and you'll learn a great deal about Indigenous enterprise development and native foods, botanicals, and medicines.

Salary and Benefit

$60,000 to $90,000 plus super pro rata.
