Michael Roberts has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the chocolate and cacao industry. Michael began their career in 1993 at Barry Callebaut as a Factory Manager in the UK, where they implemented various management systems and process improvements. Michael later moved into regional and global leadership roles within Barry Callebaut, responsible for supply chain, operations, and sales planning in the Asia Pacific region. In 2014, they joined Louis Dreyfus Company as the Head of Industry for Asia Pacific, overseeing multiple facilities and leading business development initiatives. After that, they became the Site Director at Barry Callebaut before joining Delfi Limited as the Group Head of Manufacturing, Projects & Chocolate Technology. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Managing Director of the Food Ingredients Division for the Natra Group. Overall, Michael has a strong track record of operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and leadership in the chocolate and cacao industry.
Michael Roberts has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wales UK, with a focus on Strategic Business Plan, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Employment Law, Human Resource, and Operations. Michael also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Glamorgan Wales, with a specialization in NEBOSH (professional qualification in Environmental Health and Safety). In addition, they obtained a Diploma in Advanced Food Technology from Sir John Moores University in Liverpool UK and a Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics from the Singapore Institute of Material Management.
