Nima Sharafeddin

Nima Sharafeddin is a Technology Director and Trade Store Lead at NatWest Group, a position held since March 2020, where leadership of the global Trade Store team focuses on engineering and development of core platforms such as Trade Data Exchange and Data Fabric. Prior to this role, Nima served as a Tech Lead for Data Fabric and Trade Data Exchange at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from June 2017 to March 2020, overseeing the strategic trade store and exchange hub for NatWest Markets. From November 2011 to July 2017, Nima worked as a Distributed Computing Engineer and Tech Lead at Barclays Investment Bank, contributing to the Finance IT MOTIF project. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Platform Engineer at Waxwired, developing a platform for public calendars. Nima holds an MSc in Advanced Computing from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Computing Science from Eastern Mediterranean University.
