Emily Somerville

Emily Somerville currently serves as Vice President of Legal and Governance at Navigator Global Investments Limited, a position held since February 2022. Prior to this, Emily was Vice President, Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at MV Transportation from May 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included providing legal counsel to the Board of Directors, overseeing corporate governance, and managing transactional legal matters. Emily also held the role of Corporate Counsel at JP Energy Partners LP, focusing on transactional matters and corporate governance for a public midstream MLP. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Attorney and Legislative Consultant at Erben & Yarbrough, and positions at Prudential Capital Group, the State of Texas Office of the Governor, and Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Emily holds a JD and an MBA from The University of Texas and a BA in Classics from Princeton University.
