David Martin

David Martin has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. David is currently the Finance Director at Navigator Terminals, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Finance at Navigator Terminals from January 2020 to November 2022. From November 2016 to January 2020, David worked as the UK Financial Controller at Navigator Terminals.

Before joining Navigator Terminals, David held positions at various companies. In 2016, they worked as the Financial Controller at COMMODORE KITCHENS LIMITED. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Group Head of Commercial Finance at Lakehouse plc and also served as the Financial Controller at Lakehouse plc from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as the Group Finance Manager at Fairview New Homes from 2011 to 2012. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Finance Manager at Anderson Construction.

David's earlier experience includes roles as a Project Accountant at Westfield from 2005 to 2007, a Financial Management Consultant at IBM from 2004 to 2005, and a Project Finance Manager at Jarvis plc from 2001 to 2004. David started their career as an Auditor at Kingston Smith from 1997 to 2001.

David Martin earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Exeter, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. David later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Construction Financial Management from Heriot-Watt University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Associate Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA in January 2002.
