Lissa Freed

Lissa Freed currently serves as the Head of Human Resources for Universal Filmed Entertainment Group at NBCUniversal, Inc., overseeing global HR operations for various renowned divisions including Universal Pictures and DreamWorks. With a strong background in human resources, Freed previously held the role of Senior Vice President for People & Organization at Sony Pictures Entertainment, focusing on HR strategies for both Home Entertainment and Theatrical Divisions. Prior to that, Freed was the Vice President of Human Resources at Activision, managing HR for a major operating group, and held a directorial position at Mattel, driving business performance through strategic HR initiatives. Freed began their career as a co-owner of a staffing firm at Spherion, providing staffing services to local companies. Freed holds an Executive Certificate in Human Capital and Organization Effectiveness from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from California Coast University.
