James F.

James F. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James began their career as a Strategy Analyst at New Economy Manchester in 2010. James later joined Pearson plc where they worked as an Approvals and Recognition/Account Specialist and also as an Onscreen Specialist. In 2016, James joined Johnson Controls as a Key Accounts representative. James then moved on to NCC Group where they held multiple roles, including Credit Controller, Master Data Analyst, Project Data and Reporting Analyst, and Senior Data Analyst. In their most recent role as a Senior Data Analyst at NCC Group, James worked on implementing Azure Synapse and Power BI, developing KPIs for the CEO Excom, and mentoring a team of analysts.

James F. completed their DipHE in Environmental Science from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended King Edward VII and Queen Mary School, where they achieved A levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and German, as well as 9 GCSEs. In addition to their formal education, James has also obtained several certifications, including Power BI Dataflows Essential Training, Learning Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Data Modeling with DAX, Power BI Essential Training, Data Engineering Foundations, Microsoft Azure Synapse for Developers (2020), Composite Reporting Fundamentals, and Advanced Reporting and Analytics. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as LinkedIn and Workday, with completion dates ranging from May 2021 to August 2022.
