Andre W.

Andre W. has over 8 years of professional experience in software engineering. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Harris Corporation, where they developed a monitoring software for America's space weather satellite system GOES-R. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Verisk - atmospheric and environmental research, where they developed a sequential and later parallel software library for scientific computing. Andre also published a paper titled "RRTMGP: A fast and accurate radiation code for the next decade". From 2016 to present, they have been working at nDash as the Head of Engineering and Co-Founder. Andre is responsible for leading software products through all stages from concept to working product, while keeping development agile, lean, fully remote, and within budget.

Andre W. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Iowa State University between 2005 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree, Diploma of Information Technology in High Performance Computing from Fachhochschule Bielefeld between 1999 and 2004.
