Mark Boerema

Mark Boerema is a highly experienced System Engineer, currently working at Nearfield Instruments BV since February 2018. Prior to this role, Boerema spent nearly two decades at ASML, holding multiple positions including System Engineer Product Industrialization, where responsibilities included managing the availability and reliability roadmap for next-generation EUV scanners. Boerema also served as Sr. Supervisor Applications and Business Support, overseeing a team of application engineers and enhancing business processes focused on pattern defects in chips. Earlier roles at ASML included Sr. Project Leader and Application Engineer within Applications and Business Support. Boerema holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics - Nanophysics from Delft University of Technology, completed in 1999, and a VWO diploma from CSG Jacob van Liesveldt, obtained in 1993.
