The Role

The Program Director will oversee and coordinate various software service projects and initiatives within the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of programs, aligning them with the company’s goals and client expectations. The Program Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure programs are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Lead and manage multiple software service programs from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for program management, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor program managers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all programs meet the company’s quality standards and client expectations, conducting regular reviews and assessments.
  • Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices in program management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within the software service industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale software programs and projects.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies.
    • Financial acumen and budget management experience.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
