Amy Behrends

Amy Behrends has a diverse work background with experience in various roles and industries. Amy began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Little King, Deli n Subs in 1997 and later worked as an Analyst at Shook, Hardy & Bacon from 1999 to 2002. Amy then transitioned to the public sector, taking on the role of Regional Planner at the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments from 2002 to 2003 and Health Policy Specialist at the Nebraska Hospital Association from 2003 to 2004. Amy gained further experience as the Director of Organizational Development at Community Medical Center, Inc. from 2004 to 2018. Amy's most recent position is as the Lead Human Resources Business Partner at Nebraska Public Power District, a role they have held since May 2018. Additionally, they have been an Adjunct Instructor at Bellevue University from 2012 to 2018.

Amy Behrends attended Auburn High School, although the specific dates are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in History at Missouri Western State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, Amy furthered their education by attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha. From 1997 to 1999, they obtained a Master of Public Administration degree, specializing in Public Administration.
