Jim Albert

Jim Albert is an experienced Engagement Manager at NECI since May 2021, focusing on IT and manufacturing solutions for biotech companies. Prior to this role, Jim held various positions at Sanofi Genzyme from 1995 to July 2019, including Associate Director of Process Automation and IT, where leadership of a 10-person team supported manufacturing control systems and achieved notable reductions in manufacturing time. Jim also has a background as a Process Automation Engineer, managing significant projects including a $7M data center build-out, and a Validation Engineer, ensuring the reliability of biotechnology equipment. Earlier experience includes validation work at Glaxo Wellcome, specializing in sterile products. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
