Emily Hanson

Emily Hanson is an experienced educator currently serving as a Science and Chemistry Teacher at Neighborhood House Charter School since August 2020. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Teacher at Shining Star CDC and held a position as a Community Safety Officer with the Kennebunkport Police Department. Academic experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of New England, where Emily contributed to a graduate thesis and conducted independent research on microplastics. Earlier positions include hosting at Bandaloop, working as a Work Study Student with Sodexo, and assisting as a Teacher Assistant at Just A Wee Child Care Center. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Sciences from the University of New England and studied at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2018.
