Charles Allison

Charles Allison has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Charles is currently the Vice President of Operations at Neighborly® since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer / Integrator at Van's Kitchen from 2021 to 2023. In their role at Van's Kitchen, they were responsible for strategic planning, operational objectives, and achieving financial goals.

Before their role at Van's Kitchen, Charles worked at Scholastic for over two decades. Charles held positions such as Senior Vice President - Field Sales & Operations, Regional Vice President - Field Sales & Operations, Regional General Manager - Texas, and Regional General Manager - Minnesota. Charles was responsible for managing cross-functional field organizations, sales and operations, call centers, and distribution centers while achieving revenue and profit growth.

Charles began their career at Walmart in 1984 as a Store Director overseeing various aspects of retail store operations in high volume Supercenters. Charles managed teams of 500+ associates and generated over $80M in revenue.

Charles Allison obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas State University between 1983 and 1987. Charles also attended the Walton Institute of Retailing to focus on improving their leadership skills. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Situational Leadership II - SLII from The Ken Blanchard Companies in 2009 and as a Certified MDS (Management Development Seminar) Instructor from Walmart in 1990.
