Michael Dahl Olsen

Michael Dahl Olsen has a strong background in supply chain management and project management. Michael is currently working as the Head of Strategy & PMO at Nel Hydrogen since 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Vestas, including Head of Global Supply Chain Transformation Project from 2021 to 2022. Michael also worked at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind as the Head of Industrial Development in 2020 and as a Senior Supply Chain Specialist from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they worked at Vestas as a Global Procurement Category Manager and a Supplier Quality Development Specialist. Michael started their career at Grundfos as a Production Supervisor and also worked as a QSE Engineer at Vestas. Overall, Michael Dahl Olsen has demonstrated strong leadership and experience in supply chain management and project execution.

Michael Dahl Olsen started their education at Aarhus University. From 1998 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Global Management and Manufacturing. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Olsen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing (BBA) with a field of study in HD Marketing Management. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in various areas, including Category Management Training from 4 Improve / PWC in February 2017, Fact-Based negotiations from Vestas Business Academy supported by McKinsey in September 2013, Six Sigma Greenbelt from Vestas Business Academy in June 2010, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) authorization from Industry Forum in May 2010. Olsen also holds certifications as a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 from Bureau Veritas Quality International in February 2003, and as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 from Bureau Veritas Quality International.
