Jimi Mitchell

Jimi has more than 12 years of experience in transit and transportation planning, including traffic operations, with a focus on corridor and regional planning. He has served as a project manager and task leader on several regional transit plans and corridor alternatives analysis (AA) studies for Austin, Chicago, El Paso, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Waco. He also brings several years of experience with FTA Capital Improvement Grant (CIG) Program applications and compliance, including project development, standard cost category (SCC), and finance templates.

Jimi’s critical thinking, data analysis, creative problem solving, and technical writing skills are a valuable asset in providing clients with quality recommendations that result in locally implemented initiatives with both state and federal funding participation. He is also a graduate of the APTA Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) class of 2017.
