Dave van Casteren

Dave Van Casteren has an extensive work history in the field of logistics and engineering. Dave began their career in 1998 at Caterpillar Logistics Services, where they worked as an Engineering Analyst and later as a Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Engineer. In 2008, they joined Caterpillar Logistics Services, Inc. as a 6 Sigma Black Belt and Operations Manager, before becoming a Logistics Engineering Supervisor EAME. Dave then moved to Neovia Logistics in 2012, where they initially served as a Logistics Engineering Manager EAME, providing leadership and coaching to a team of engineers and real estate managers. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Director Strategic Projects, Tools and Technology, overseeing critical logistics projects and implementing tools and standards for the Solutions department. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Engineering at Neovia Logistics, responsible for strategic planning and implementation.

Dave Van Casteren has a Master's degree in Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. In 2000, they completed a Post Graduate program in Operations Management at Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven. From 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Graduate program in Logistics Transportation and Mobility at Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven. In 2016, Dave Van Casteren obtained Advanced Manager Development training from Expert Academy.
