Joana Vaz Monteiro is an experienced talent acquisition leader with a robust background in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Nestlé since January 2016, Joana leads a team of over 25 professionals and has significantly transformed the talent acquisition strategy across the Swiss Market, HQ, and Global Management Business, encompassing more than 10,000 employees. Previous roles include Regional Talent & Leadership Assessment Manager for Zone EMENA and Talent Acquisition Team Lead for a global procurement organization at Nestlé. Joana's earlier experience includes positions as Head Hunter at Borrer Executive Search, Sr. Consultant & Project Manager at Thomas International, and Executive Search Consultant at NMC-Nijsse International Executive Search. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from INDEG - ISCTE and a Licentiate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Universidade de Coimbra.
