Umesh Manathkar

Umesh Manathkar serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at NetApp since October 2021, overseeing worldwide IT operations for a revenue of over $6 billion and more than 18,000 users, and leading a transformative technological initiative. Prior to NetApp, Umesh held the position of Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Amkor Technology from 2015 to October 2021, managing IT strategy and operations for a $7 billion global semiconductor manufacturing enterprise. Umesh also served as CIO at Wolfspeed, Silicon Labs, and garnered expertise at Freescale and Motorola, focusing on IT operations, business applications, and process improvements. Educational background includes an MBA in Technology from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
