Amer Ali

Amer Ali is currently the VP of Finance at Netlify. Amer has over 6 years of experience in finance and strategy.

Amer started their career as a Marketing Finance at Gigya. Amer then transitioned to Adobe Marketo as an FP&A Manager. In this role, Amer was responsible for developing and maintaining the core operating model, including the 3-year long range plan, revenue plan, cash flows, balance sheet, OPEX, unit economics, and SaaS metrics. Amer was also responsible for leading a cross-functional team to revamp the pricing framework, business model development, competitor analysis, and KPI development.

In January 2017, Amer joined Zenreach as the Director of Finance & Strategy. In this role, Amer was responsible for the financial planning and analysis, as well as the corporate strategy for the company. Amer was also responsible for sales strategy, including compensation planning, quota planning, resource allocation, and leads distribution. Amer was promoted to this role from Manager after just 2 years with the company.

Amer has been with Netlify since December 2019 and is currently the VP of Finance.

Amer Ali has a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University and has also completed training from Training the Street.
