Jason santa Maria

Jason Santa Maria has extensive experience in design and creative direction. Jason has served as a Senior Design Director at Netlify since 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded A Book Apart, a publisher of design and UX books, where they were also the Creative Director. At Resolve To Save Lives, they worked on product and design projects related to the COVID pandemic. Jason has also held senior design director roles at InVision, Slate Magazine, and Vox Media, Inc., where they oversaw various design initiatives. Jason was the co-founder and Creative Director of Editorially, a writing app. At Adobe, they served as the Creative Director for Typekit. Jason has also been the Creative Director at A List Apart and the owner of their own consultancy, Mighty. Jason has worked with notable clients such as Chicago Tribune, Etsy, Instapaper, Medium, Microsoft, NYU, They Might Be Giants, and WordPress.

Jason Santa Maria attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design.
