Richard Dagher

Richard Dagher has a strong background in business development and portfolio management, with experience in various industries such as technology, satellite services, and engineering services. Richard currently holds the role of Director of Business Development at Netways, where they are leading the implementation of a growth strategy in the UAE. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Business Development and Portfolio Management at Yahsat, where they played a key role in expanding government sector customer relationships and diversifying revenue streams. Richard also held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Yahsat, where they led the sales process and negotiation of key opportunities. Additionally, Richard has experience as an advisor to the CEO at AddBloom and as a board member and COO at BCom, where they played instrumental roles in the company's growth and development. Richard began their career as a Technical Sales Manager at AMIK ONLINE SARL and gained early experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Consolidated Contractors International Company. Through their various roles, Richard has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, relationship management, and business transformation.

Richard Dagher has a strong educational background in both engineering and business. Richard began their education at Beirut Evangelical School for Boys and Girls, where they obtained their Baccalaureate degree in Mathematics in 1994. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering at the American University of Beirut from 1994 to 1998.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Richard went on to earn a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Later, they further expanded their knowledge by pursuing an Executive MBA from ESCP Business School from 2015 to 2017, focusing on Strategy, Management, Marketing, and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Richard Dagher has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include "Learning Cloud Computing: Cloud Security" and "Learning Cloud Computing: Public Cloud Platforms" from LinkedIn, obtained in January 2023, as well as "RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders" from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2022.

Richard has also completed various certifications such as "Digital Technologies Case Studies: AI, IOT, Robotics, Blockchain" and "Digital Transformation" from LinkedIn, obtained in November and October 2021 respectively. Additionally, they completed "Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in October 2021.

Furthermore, Richard Dagher has obtained the "Situational Leadership®" certification from Dr. Paul Hersey in March 2014 and the "Bureau Veritas Foundation Course in Quality Management Systems QMS and ISO 9000" certification from Bvqi in January 2011. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development and staying updated with new industry knowledge and practices.
